Duplicate case

You may want to re-open a closed case and retain its basic information while also creating new case closure information, such as a different closing date closed and outcome. In this situation then you should duplicate the case.

When Case Manager duplicates a case it creates a new case number for the duplicate and copies over all the case details and contact information from the original. This can save a lot of re-typing. The documentation, costs and accounts are not copied.

To duplicate the case that is currently selected in the Case List, select the duplication icon at the top left hand side of the screen. This will start the New Case wizard with the details and contact information already entered.
