Scheduled maintenance

Case Manager administrators can schedule a maintenance window that logs all users off the system and allows database maintenance and upgrades to be performed.

Maintenance lockout

To set up scheduled maintenance select Tools > Options from the main menu and select the Security tab.

  1. Click the Enable the following maintenance window check box.
  2. This will schedule an outage block of time where all users are locked out of the system.

  3. Enter the start time for the outage.
  4. If Case Manager is running at this time it will automatically shut down and prevent further logins.

  5. Enter the finish time.
  6. Normal operation resumes at this time.

  7. A warning message is sent to logged-on users a certain number of minutes before the lock out. Enter this amount.
  8. This message can be repeated at selected intervals. Enter the repeat amount.

Click OK to save the changes.
