Almost all kinds of documents can be managed through Case Manager.

On this page we are talking about the documents that are not emails, plain and formatted text documents, Word files, PDF files or Excel files.

Generally speaking, these files can be added to Case Manager and hence stored with your cases. To preview them you need to leave Case Manager.

The exception is PDF and image files, which can both be previewed in Case Manager.

When these files need to be modified, Case Manager will 'hand them over' to whatever program is linked with this type of file in your own computer's system.

Add new document

To add these documents to Case Manager follow the same general techniques. Eiher:

  • Drag them into the Documentation grid, or
  • Start the Add document process and select the Existing file option.
